How do I check if my home is suitable for a dog to live in?Evaluate the size of your home to determine if it provides enough room for the dog to move around comfortably, especially if you're considering a larger breed. Ensure that there is no potential hazards by ensuring there is no small objects that could be swallowed. Consider your flooring type. Dogs can sometimes scratch or damage certain flooring materials like hardwood, so be prepared for the potential impact of a dog's claws. If necessary, you can use rugs or protective covers to minimize damage.
